What Location Sharing can do
When enabled, location may add place context to new urge activity or help set a current Home Location. This context can make some patterns easier to explore. NourishNot continues to work without location.
Two separate controls
Location Sharing in NourishNot
The app-level switch can be turned On or Off in Settings. When it is Off, NourishNot should not use device location for new place context.
Android location permission
Android separately controls whether the app may access approximate or precise device location. Permission can remain granted at the Android level while NourishNot’s own Location Sharing switch is Off—or permission can be denied while the app-level switch is On.
Both controls need to allow access before NourishNot can use device location. Manual Home Location entry may still be available without device location.
Turning sharing off
Turning Location Sharing Off stops the feature from being used for new location operations. It does not automatically delete location information that was already saved or included in older history.
Settings includes a separate action for deleting saved local location information. The exact scope of remote, exported, logged, or backed-up historical location deletion is still being finalized, so this guide does not claim that one local action removes every historical copy.
