Logging Your Daily Mood

Daily Mood is an end-of-day view of how the day felt overall. It is separate from an emotion selected during a No check-in.

Daily Mood and urge emotions are different

After a No response, NourishNot may ask what feeling or urge is present in that specific moment. Daily Mood is broader: it records one of the available mood states for the day.

The two can be different. A difficult moment does not have to define your entire day, and an overall mood does not explain every urge.

Record or review a mood

  1. Open Mood Log.
  2. Choose the date you want to review or update.
  3. Select the mood state that best fits the day.
  4. Save the entry using the available action.

The Mood Log calendar gives you a visual history. When you open a historical date, the mood stored for that date is shown with a visible checkmark, so the selection is not communicated by color alone.

How mood is used

Daily Mood can contribute to Reports and other pattern summaries. As with every summary, it reflects what you chose to record and should be treated as an observation rather than an explanation or diagnosis.
